Mugsy Dog Sightings: February 2014

In Loving Memory of Mugsy (2002 - 2009)

Mugsy was my family's first Boston Terrier. My mother initially visited him at the pet shop and he was so excited to see her that he would run into the pane of glass that separated them. The several times she went to see him he was always overjoyed at her attention. A few weeks later she went to the pet shop again, only to find his spirit had been broken. He was sullen, curled up in the back corner of the cage. She knew she had to rescue him. Mugsy became a wonderful addition to our family. His friendliness, intelligence, and unparalleled enthusiasm for chasing and catching balls were very endearing. He could always cheer you up when you needed it. Alas, after only about 7 short years of life he suddenly got very ill and went to chase his big blue ball on the other side. I wish we could have had many more years to spend with him. I'm dedicating this blog to Mugsy and the happiness that he brought to us.
